SIPQOS was built by VoIP software engineers (primarily out of frustration) for VoIP network administrators who could not find a simple and inexpensive solution to monitor basic events in their SIP networks. We also build VoIP software (Softphones – iPhone, Android, PC, Mac) and operate telecommunications services in Canada and the US. The founders are known industry veterans with over 25 years of combined SIP / VoIP software design and development experience.
Most SIP / VoIP Monitoring solutions are somewhat complicated and quite expensive to implement. Selfishly, we wanted a remote service that monitored the health of our own SIP networks and let us know when things were not as they should be, without breaking the bank and without having to install appliances and servers. Since we could not find what we were looking for we decided to build our own, SIPQOS was born.
SIPQOS uses cloud computing to deliver reliability and scalability. Our systems sense load and create new servers on opposite sides of the nation dynamically and automatically when the need arises. This architecture and service methodology ensures maximum up-time for ourselves (we eat our own dog food) and our customers.
